Web Design & Photography
Web Design
What I enjoy most about web design is how it allows me to combine creativity with functionality. I love the process of planning layouts, choosing color palettes, and creating designs that feel both visually appealing and easy to use. For me, web design is about finding the perfect balance between artistry and user experience so that a website feels welcoming and intuitive from the moment you arrive.
Web Development
On the development side, I enjoy the problem solving aspect. I like taking an idea from concept to reality by writing code that makes designs come to life. Whether it’s building interactive features, ensuring accessibility, or making sure everything runs smoothly across devices, I find development rewarding because it gives me the tools to bring my creative vision into a working product.
Photography
Photography has always been a passion of mine because it allows me to capture moments and tell stories visually. I enjoy experimenting with lighting, composition, and editing to create images that feel expressive and unique. Photography connects me to the world in a creative way, and it also enhances my design work by giving me original visuals to incorporate into projects.

This rotating gallery highlights some of my favorite creations, each one reflecting a mix of creativity, technical skill, and storytelling. My Best Projects – So Far
Innovative Designs, Timeless Impact: My Latest Design Endeavors

Maplewood Farmer’s Market
The Maplewood Farmers Market project is a website designed to highlight fresh, local produce and baked goods. I focused on creating a warm, seasonal aesthetic that matched the community-centered vibe of a farmers market. Features included produce galleries, event details, and easy navigation for visitors looking to explore what the market has to offer.

Andante Magazine
Andante Magazine is a music-themed publication I designed to capture the spirit of sound and storytelling. I built spreads around stock photography, interviews with new artists, and custom ads for music gear like Sony headphones and a vintage Audio-Technica record player. With features on festivals and upcoming releases, the magazine feels like a professional, print-ready product that blends design with my passion for music.

The Phoenix Local
The Phoenix Local is a city guide website showcasing the best of Phoenix, Arizona. From cafes and restaurants to activities and hidden gems, the site was designed with locals and visitors in mind. I used clean layouts and user-friendly navigation to create an engaging resource that reflects the energy and culture of the city.
What I Bring to the Table
Here’s a preview of my knowledge and experience.
Get to Know Me
Hello I’m Valeria! I’m originally from Gilbert, Arizona, but I now call San Diego, California home. Moving here has given me the chance to explore new opportunities while also staying close to the creative communities that inspire my work. When I’m not designing, coding, or photographing, I love enjoying the outdoors and discovering the small details that make each place unique.
On a more personal note, I share my life with two wonderful pets: a curious tuxedo cat and a sweet elderly Maltipoo dog. They keep me company during late-night design sessions and add a lot of joy to my everyday routine.
Projects include websites, magazines, posters, flyers, and book covers.
Skilled in front-end development and creative design.
16 years of photography experience integrated into my work.
