The Phoenix Local
e Phoenix Local is a guide to the best restaurants, cafés, and activities in Phoenix, Arizona. Using HTML and CSS, I designed the site for easy navigation, pairing clean layouts with free stock photos from Pexels to showcase the city’s culture.
PokeQuest Shop
PokeQuest is a playful online store concept inspired by the Pokémon franchise, featuring cards, plushes, supplies, and collectibles. Built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the site incorporates vibrant free images from Pexels to reflect the fun and colorful nature of the brand.
Bloom Plant Shop
Bloom is an e-commerce-inspired site for a plant shop that offers plant care lessons and floral arrangement classes. It was created with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and features free Pexels images to give it a natural, fresh, and modern aesthetic.
Designing Andante Magazine with Adobe InDesign

Andante Magazine is a music-themed publication that I designed from start to finish, including every page layout, feature article, and ad. I created a cohesive theme throughout, incorporating a table of contents for easy navigation, interviews with new and upcoming artists, festival highlights, and music-related advertisements like Sony headphones and a vintage Audio-Technica record player. I had a lot of fun designing each element, carefully selecting stock photos and arranging pages to reflect the energy and creativity of the music world. This project is especially meaningful to me, as it reflects my dream of one day working closely with musicians and combining my passion for design with my love of music. Check out the page designs below!

Movie and Book Designs with Photoshop
I’ve designed a variety of movie posters and book covers that showcase my skills in Photoshop, composition, and storytelling. For my fantasy-themed book The Lunar Throne, I blended a stock photo of a woman with a castle in space and added stylized lighting, shadows, and an animated effect to create a dramatic, otherworldly look. I also recreated posters for films like Past Lives and Aftersun, using stock photos and film imagery to capture the unique emotional tones of each story—Past Lives as a nuanced love story and Aftersun highlighting a father-daughter relationship. Each project allowed me to experiment with layout, color, and visual storytelling, reflecting my passion for design and narrative.
Additional Designs
Beyond magazines, posters, and web design, I’ve worked on a variety of additional design projects that showcase versatility and creativity. These include articles for a charity, a Pride Festival article, a folding brochure for the band The Marías, business cards, t-shirt designs, and various posters. Each project challenged me to combine typography, imagery, and layout to communicate a clear message while staying visually engaging. I carefully selected colors, fonts, and stock imagery to match the tone and purpose of each design, creating work that is both professional and expressive.
