Behind the Scenes of Andante Magazine

Andante Magazine was one of the most exciting projects I’ve created. I named it Andante after the musical term meaning “at a walking pace” a reflection of the idea that readers should slow down and enjoy music thoughtfully.
I designed every page using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, from the table of contents to full spreads featuring up-and-coming artists, new album releases, and a music festival page. To make the magazine feel professional, I also created ads for Sony headphones and an Audio-Technica record player, both tied directly to the world of music.
The process allowed me to bring together my skills in typography, layout, and branding while designing around a subject I’m deeply passionate about: music. Creating Andante Magazine was a joy, and it gave me the chance to imagine what it would be like to work in the music publishing industry.
